HALLS GAP

Gatherings 2023

Saturday, 21st October 2023

Moth Trail Gatherings 2023 is produced in partnership with Snappy Gappians, Halls Gap Neighbourhood House, Botanical Gardens, Halls Gap Primary School.

We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land on which the Moth Trail experience has been created. We pay our respects to Elders, past, present and emerging and all First Nations people who are present on this Country today.

The MOTH Trail returns!

Like moths in the night, Drawn to the light… Around the art, We gather.

Gather at the Pop up Park for music with local musicians, socialise with friends and enjoy the dining options of nearby hospitality. Interact with Augmented Reality on the murals via your smart device.

As night falls, follow the light trail to the Botanical Gardens and Primary School where a wondrous projection art and light experiences await you. Visit the Talking Tree and Fairy Garden. Paint your own artwork with light. Interact with shadow projections, unexpected animations and interactive projection installations. A visual and interactive trail of the art and performance of artists and Halls Gap community groups.
